Dec 16
New seasons new growth.
John 21: 5-6 says 5 He called out to them, “Friends, haven’t you any fish?” 6 He said, “Throw your net on the right side of the boat and you will find some.” When they did, they were unable to haul the net in because of the large number of fish. The reason I posted this scripture is because it spoke to me clearly after last night, marking a closure in one season and a new one beginning now. The reason it stood out is because Jesus told the disciples to make one little adjustment and once they obeyed the tremendous difference it made from catching no fish to a great abundance so much so that they couldn’t even bring the net in. Showing you why God’s plans are far greater than anything we could ever plan for our own lives also shows when your obedient to God you reap the rewards and blessings that he had waiting for you. How does this relate to my life, well I’m in the process of making an adjustment to where it takes me out of my comfort zone and after having a good talk with my brothers I have come to realize that life has been the way it has because I stopped challenging myself and I became stagnant. So starting today things are gonna be changing in my life and definitely for the better, like I posted in my status update a couple days ago, it’s time to start chasing after the one who gives the blessing rather than the blessing itself. Take care and God bless Nick J.
